About McLean HighLites

McLean HighLites is the newsletter of the McLean High School's Parent Teacher Student Association, an affiliate of the Fairfax County Council of PTAs and the Virginia Congress of PTAs. It is published eight times each school year and has a circulation of approximately 1,900. It is posted on our PTSA web site at www.mcleanptsa.org.

Submission Guidelines for Articles and Ads

Articles should be submitted via e-mail to Kent Arnold. Articles should include author's name, phone number and date of the newsletter in which the article should appear. Advertising must be camera-ready with an accompanying media, CD preferred. The hard copy of a business card size ad and accompanying disk must be submitted with a check made payable to McLean High School PTSA. Rates are $50 per ad per issue. Half- or quarter-page ads may be accepted depending on space. Contact editor on pricing.

Non-Custodial Parents & the Newsletter

If you are a non-custodial parent of a McLean High School student and want to receive your own copy of this newsletter, please contact Kent Arnold at (703) 533-8963 and your name and address will be added to the newsletter mailing list.

PTSA Newsletter Via Email

This year your PTSA Newsletter will be sent via email instead of by regular mail. This means that you get the PTSA Newsletter as soon as it is posted on our website. Also, your PTSA saves the cost and environmental impact of printing and mailing your newsletter: a triple play!

If you do not yet receive the newsletter by email, please sign up through "Keep in Touch." If you already subscribe to Keep in Touch, you will need to "update" your information to request the newsletter via email. Once you sign up, we will use the Keep in Touch system to send you an email with a link to the newsletter. Thank you.
