The National PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore their creativity through visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production. Students create original works based on the annual theme and may advance through local, state, and national levels of competition.Parent volunteers help promote the program, coordinate submissions, recruit judges, organize recognition events, and celebrate student achievements.

All participants must be McLean PTSA member. If the student hasn’t joined the PTSA, please join here.

• Late September: Official program launch and student promotion

• November 15: MHS student submission deadline

• November 16–20: Review entries for eligibility/completeness and prepare anonymous judging materials

• Late November: Blind judging

• Early December: Finalize MHS winners and prepare advancing entries

• December 10: FCCPTA submission deadline

• February 19, 2027: FCCPTA Reflections Awards Ceremony
