Teacher & Staff Appreciation Opportunity - Friday Breakfast Station
The PTSA organizes a weekly Friday Breakfast Station during the year stocked with contributions by fellow McLean HS families. The Friday Breakfast Station is set up in the front office for the 250+ teachers & staff who are grateful each week for your donations. Donations can be dropped off in person or ordered online and shipped. Please click on the link to donate a breakfast item from the sign up list this month.

PTSA hosts a Back to School Night Dinner for Teachers and Staff!(08/26/26)
On Wednesday, August 26th, the PTSA hosted a dinner for the teachers/staff of McLean High School before Back to School Night. A yummy dinner provided by Listrani’s of McLean included pizza, salad, dessert and cold drinks. The dinner nourished the teachers/staff before the big night and allowed them to keep their parking spots before the event. The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning events such as this Back to School Night Dinner. Looking forward to a great year for McLean High School!

The McLean High School PTSA was excited to kick off the new school year by welcoming both our teachers and our newest Highlander families.
On Monday, August 17, the PTSA's Hospitality Committee hosted a Welcome Back Breakfast for McLean High School teachers and staff. This annual tradition is one of many ways the PTSA shows appreciation for the dedicated educators and staff who support our students throughout the year.
Then, on August 20, we welcomed Class of 2030 families during New Parent Orientation.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us.
Welcoming Our New Highlander Teachers and Staff (08/13/26)
The McLean High School PTSA was delighted to participate in this year’s New Teacher and Staff Orientation and extend a warm Highlander welcome to our newest faculty and staff members.
PTSA President Toni Sun introduced the mission of the PTSA and shared how parents, teachers, students, and community members work together to support every Highlander. New teachers were invited to join the PTSA through a complimentary membership sponsored by the PTSA, reinforcing our commitment to building strong partnerships between families and educators.
The PTSA also provided a welcome sheet cake for faculty members to enjoy during the orientation.
We are grateful to our new teachers and staff for choosing McLean High School and look forward to working together to create a supportive, connected, and thriving school community.
