Test Day Snacks
The PTSA organizes snacks for the MHS Teachers/Staff proctoring the PSAT/SAT on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 during McLean HS's Testing Day. Let's express our thanks by donating snacks/candies to be set up in the front office so teachers/staff can pick up goodies with their packets.
Friday Breakfast Station
The PTSA organizes a weekly Friday Breakfast Station during the year stocked with contributions by fellow McLean HS families. The Friday Breakfast Station is set up in the front office for the 250+ teachers & staff who are grateful each week for your donations. Donations can be dropped off in person or ordered online and shipped.

For Custodian Appreciation Week, on October 1, 2026, the PTSA hosted a lunch for the day custodians and a dinner for the evening custodians of McLean High School. These yummy meals provided by Listrani’s of McLean included sandwiches, subs, dessert and cold drinks. The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning events such as these Custodian Appreciation meals. Custodians, thank you for all that you do for McLean High School!

PTSA hosts a Back to School Night Dinner for Teachers and Staff!
On Wednesday, August 26th, the PTSA hosted a dinner for the teachers/staff of McLean High School before Back to School Night. A yummy dinner provided by Listrani’s of McLean included pizza, salad, dessert and cold drinks. The dinner nourished the teachers/staff before the big night and allowed them to keep their parking spots before the event. The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning events such as this Back to School Night Dinner. Looking forward to a great year for McLean High School!

The McLean High School PTSA was excited to kick off the new school year by welcoming our teachers and staff.
On Monday, August 17, the PTSA's Hospitality Committee hosted a Welcome Back Breakfast for McLean High School teachers and staff. This annual tradition is one of many ways the PTSA shows appreciation for the dedicated educators and staff who support our students throughout the year.
Then, on August 20, we welcomed Class of 2030 families during New Parent Orientation.

The McLean High School PTSA was delighted to participate in this year’s New Teacher and Staff Orientation and extend a warm Highlander welcome to our newest faculty and staff members.
We introduced the mission of the PTSA and shared how parents, teachers, students, and community members work together to support every Highlander. New teachers were invited to join the PTSA through a complimentary membership sponsored by the PTSA, reinforcing our commitment to building strong partnerships between families and educators.
The PTSA also provided a welcome sheet cake for faculty members to enjoy during the orientation.
We are grateful to our new teachers and staff for choosing McLean High School and look forward to working together to create a supportive, connected, and thriving school community. Welcome to the Highlander family!
