The Hospitality Committee celebrates the dedicated teachers and staff who support the McLean High School community. Throughout the year, the committee organizes events such as the Back-to-School Staff Breakfast and Luncheon, Highlander Appreciation Week, and other staff recognition activities. Parents and volunteers are invited to support these efforts through donations and volunteer opportunities.
Each class — senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman — has a dedicated committee of parent volunteers who help strengthen communication, build community, support grade-specific events, and encourage family engagement throughout the high school years.
The PTSA connects the school community through two signature events: Celebrate McLean, the annual back-to-school celebration, and the Holiday Bazaar, a festive event featuring local vendors, student organizations, and holiday shopping. Volunteers help plan, organize, and host both.
Promotes Highlander pride with McLean apparel and merchandise, available at school events and online. Proceeds support PTSA programs and activities.
