Staff Appreciation & Hospitality
The Hospitality Committee celebrates the dedicated teachers and staff who support the McLean High School community. Throughout the year, the committee organizes events such as the Back-to-School Staff Breakfast and Luncheon, Highlander Appreciation Week, and other staff recognition activities. Parents and volunteers are invited to support these efforts through donations and volunteer opportunities.

Each class — senior, junior, sophomore, and freshman — has a dedicated committee of parent volunteers who help strengthen communication, build community, support grade-specific events, and encourage family engagement throughout the high school years.

Celebrate McLean & Holiday Bazaar
The PTSA connects the school community through a series of signature events: Celebrate McLean, the annual back-to-school celebration, Homecoming and the Holiday Bazaar, a festive event featuring local vendors, student organizations, and holiday shopping. Volunteers help plan, organize, and host both.

The MFEC fosters an inclusive and welcoming environment for all McLean High School families. We support multilingual families by improving access to communication and resources, and we serve as a trusted hub where families can receive and exchange information that strengthens our community. Our work builds a strong sense of belonging so every family feels valued, connected, and at home in the MHS community.
